Ready Set Go Back To School | Tools for School

Our events are free and open to the public! Students and parents are welcome to participate.
Ready Set Go Back to School, Inc. is a collaboration between Savannah Chatham County Public Schools, the City of Savannah, nonprofits, businesses, and churches. In addition to providing school supplies and personal hygiene items, financial contributions from sponsorships help purchase the necessary items that each child needs to have a great start for school.
This year, our mission is expanding. In addition to providing essential school supplies, we are committed to distributing personal hygiene items such as:
Soap
Toothpaste and toothbrushes
Shampoo
Deodorant
Sanitary pads
And other essentials
Our goal is to equip students not only for academic success but also to support their health, confidence, and self-esteem. We recognize that meeting basic needs is key to ensuring every child can return to school feeling prepared and empowered.
Last year’s Party in the Park drew hundreds from across the community. Based on that response, we are anticipating an even larger turnout this year—and we are preparing accordingly.
We invite you and your organization to partner with us—whether as a sponsor, donor, vendor, or volunteer. Your support will directly impact the lives of local students and families, and your presence will demonstrate your commitment to the well-being of our community.
